Steve Johnson started his career as a kindergarten, 2nd grade and computer lab teacher in Vass, North Carolina. After 9 classroom years, he transitioned to supporting colleagues as a digital learning coach- which eventually led him to the role of Assistant Director of Technology for Moore County Schools. In this role, Steve worked with dedicated team members to provide high-quality STEM experiences for all students- including robotics, computer science, and engineering - particularly in grades K-5. He is passionate about ensuring that ALL students actively practice the critical skills that high-quality STEM experiences can provide.
