Ashley Pursley serves Anderson School District 5 as a Digital Integration Specialist. She collaborates with educators to provide and support high quality learning opportunities through innovative integration of instructional technology.
Ashley has been working in instructional technology since 2017 when she first moved into the field in Berkeley County School District. Prior to 2017, she enjoyed seven years in secondary ELA/English classrooms. She taught high school English II, III, and IV in Oconee County and middle school ELA 8 and English I in Oconee and Berkeley Counties.
Ashley is driven by her passion for the intersection of pedagogy and technology, exploring how technology can be used to amplify teaching and learning. She is particularly interested in using technology to mobilize personalized learning strategies.
