I am a reflective leader and learner with a passion for equity, coaching, instructional design, and public education. Committed to serving others in building capacity to become empowered and self-directed lifelong learners.
I am a Digital Learning Coordinator with the Digital Learning and Libraries department of Wake County Public School System in North Carolina. I work with schools across the district to provide instructional support, professional learning, school leadership support in addition to supporting districtwide initiatives focused on the North Carolina Digital Learning Standards and Competencies. I am a Google Certified Trainer and Level 2 Google Certified Educator. I have been teaching in Wake County Public School System since the fall of 2012. I taught kindergarten and second grade and served as a Magnet Integration Coach before moving to the Digital Learning Coordinator role in the fall of 2018. I earned my Master of Education in Curriculum and Developmental Supervision from North Carolina State University. I am a licensed Curriculum Specialist. I attended Elon University as an undergraduate and have a BA in Elementary Education.
