I earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Elementary Education from California University of Pennsylvania in 2004 and my Master of School Administration from NCSU NELA program. I have been a classroom teacher, instructional coach, AP, principal, Director of Testing and Accountability, and currently the Chief Academic Officer/ Federal Programs Director for Washington County Schools. When students engage in learning a new world is opened to them. This belief drives to me to find creative ways to provide innovative and engaging best practices to my staff and students. Meeting kids where they are and providing them with opportunities to be successful with the curriculum and technology ensures they have a firm foundation for the future.
