Mrs. Combs has been teaching for 13 years, in all grades K-12. She holds a B.S. in Elementary Education from the University of Wisconsin - Stevens Point and a Ma.Ed in Curriculum and Instruction from Concordia University.  She is currently pursuing a Ma.Ed in Instructional Technology at East Carolina University.  Mrs. Combs was named the 2022 Digital Teaching and Learning Educator to Watch by NC Association of Middle-Level Education. She also serves as a constituent committee member and panelist for the international, Association of Middle-Level Education.  Mrs. Combs has a passion for instructional technology and sharing her knowledge with others. 

Mrs. Combs has served as an Instructional Technology Facilitator in Carteret County, NC, and is now a district Digital Teaching and Learning Specialist with Wilson County Schools. 

When Mrs. Combs is not in the classroom, she spends time with her husband and their two adorable Jack Russell puppies.  She also loves anything water---scuba diving and fishing!
