K-12 school districts are leaders in adopting cloud platforms, led by the increasing embrace of collaboration tools like Google Workspace and Microsoft 365. Unfortunately, school districts are not properly securing the student and staff activity taking place within them that puts schools at risk. While every district uses firewalls and content filters, these aren't effective at protecting the cloud applications used in school.

In this session, you will learn about the cloud layer of the K-12 technology stack and how you can protect your cloud environment to create safer, more secure schools for your students and staff.

This session will call on attendees to share what their cloud security strategies currently look like, whether they are protecting against specific risks in the cloud or not, and actively discuss the questions district administrators should be asking themselves to help further secure these growing cloud environments.
