Widening Student Perspectives with ThingLink and ClassVR

Participants will learn how to use ThingLink to create virtual reality content that can be accessed both on browser-based devices or through VR headsets.

Participants will get a hands-on tutorial of how to use ThingLink and then experience two activities using ThinkLink with our ClassVR headsets.

The first activity will be a hands-on tutorial of ThingLink to create a virtual tour and ideas on how this can be effectively used as part of curriculum Participants will then be able to view cultural virtual tours made by my World History students using our ClassVR headsets.

The second activity will be a demonstration of a World Landmark VR escape room game built with ThingLink. Participants work with a team to identify various world landmarks, the person with the headset gives clues (without saying what landmark it is) to their teammates about the landmark who then have to figure out what landmark it is.
