The return to full-time, face to face learning was greeted with enthusiasm by some students, but for those who are introverted or anxious this transition has often brought about mixed emotions. We will discuss ways to modify digital and physical learning environments to better support and engage introverted students. We will also explore the use of digital tools to encourage introverted students to share their voices for self-advocacy and collaboration.
Active engagement: We will be asking participants to participate in brief personality assessments and digital polls during the session.

Diversity Our session will contain content related to meeting the needs of a variety of learners. Though the session focuses on supporting introverts, many of the strategies could be used to support other learners. For example, some of the same strategies could be used to support chunking, wait time, extended time, and more for learners with other needs.
