What is Systems Thinking (ST) and how can you use it in your classroom? Join this session to get started with ST in your classroom today! In this session participants will be introduced to Systems Thinking through interactive examples, discussion, and classroom templates using Google Slides, LucidChart, and Jamboard. Participants will have the opportunity to generate Slice-of-the System (SoS) maps, brainstorm strategies for incorporating SoS maps in the classroom, and adopt a Systems Thinking approach for helping students connect their learning to the world around them.

The strategies used in this session center and value the perspectives that diverse learners bring to the table as agents of change and as collaborators in the classroom and in our world. Resources shared in this session are platform agnostic and free so as not to create barriers for access.
