Developing culturally responsive-sustaining learning environments begins with a firm understanding of cultural competence. In an effort to better serve students from diverse cultural and ethnic backgrounds, we designed this session to inform instructional leaders of the importance and application of cultural competence through critical self-reflection and solution-oriented discussions.
