Choice Boards with a Purpose

In this presentation, we will explore the different ways teachers can design choice boards for students. Participants will learn how to take data from any source and use that information to design choice boards to meet students' personalized needs, and explore assessment options for competency-based progression. Throughout the session, participants will join in a variety of discussion activities where they can share thoughts, ask questions, and collaborate. For these activities, we will use several resources like Google Docs, Padlet, Dotstorming, and Answer Garden for interaction. Participants will also have some time to explore and set up the resources so they can begin using them when they return to school.
