We will share tools and resources the ECPPS technology team used to overcome the recent technology and communication challenges to keep parents, staff, and students connected, engaged and informed. Powering through the inability to work or communicate the "way we always have" allowed our district to put new and improved measures in place for online and live technology support with live-chat features; real-time appointments and scheduling for device pick-up, repairs, & exchanges; and introducing a new & effective school,  district, and parent communication platform. We will review what platforms we have introduced, how we overcame the barriers we faced, and how well they are working. Participants will work together to review current digital communication channels, discuss reach and deliverability, and learn what new platforms can be used to track parent and family communication metrics as well as maintain data security and privacy. Interactive activities will include...Discuss and capture:what current tools participants/districts are using to connect familieswhat questions need to be answered to measure current district to home engagementwhat reporting dashboards are availableParticipate in a live demo of ParentSquare application, data dashboard, and additional tools and resources to bridge communication challenges.
