Women have made great accomplishments in the fields of education, law, medicine, and government. We have elected our first female Vice President of the United States. Women remain underrepresented in the area of computer science and engineering. A girl can dream of accomplishing great things! Girls should no longer remain “hidden figures”. Northeast Elementary School has inaugurated our first all-girl computer science club focused on coding. Our poster will detail how we did it, including our planning process, photos, our next steps, etc.
